Estonia's best luxury travel experiences

Luxury travel is about more than five star hotels and spa treatments. These services can be found practically everywhere. What is exclusive is escaping the crowds and experiencing something truly unique, like spending a night in a castle or visiting a floating sauna on a lake! Find your own idea of luxury in Estonia.

Elegant, and possibly haunted, countryside manors

Travel back in time at Vihula Country Club and Spa, a 16th century manor situated in beautiful Lahemaa National Park. The estate also includes 25 other historical buildings, a restaurant, café, full-service spa and further leisure facilities. Between the wildlife-rich Lahemaa area, the nearby Baltic Sea coast, and Vihula's many activities, you can easily spend a relaxing weekend here.

A touch of luxury in the outdoors

What could be more special and romantic than having a "Royal Picnic" in the forest? Arrive on horseback to the forest of Ohukotsu village, where a food and drink menu of your choosing will await you. The tender of the nearby Voore stables will be there to make your wishes come true.

Roughing it in a tent not your idea of a relaxing holiday? Give glamping a try - glamourous camping in stylish, spacious tents. Complete with real mattresses, heating, and terraces overlooking the river, each tent accommodates up to five people. Enjoy the comforts of a boutique hotel, but directly in the nature near Estonia's summer capital, Pärnu.

On the water

Spend the night on Lake Peipus itself, in the boat 'Mesi-spa', which has its own sauna on board! The cosy space is perfect for an out of the ordinary romantic getaway, but can also accommodate up to four people, suitable for a special family trip.

The Jõmmu barge, a timber boat, like the kind that sailed on Estonian waters during Hanseatic times, sails on the River Emajõgi, Lake Peipus, and Lake Võrtsjärv from the start of April to the end of November. Enjoy tea and coffee, order catering, a history or nature guide, or you can even arrange for an accordionist.
